Wall Running
Wall running on trampoline wall is a back-bounce variation, not actual running: a kick out of the bed toward the wall, two flat-footed steps, and an active push back down into the trampoline. Contact happens on the way up β waiting until the apex leaves no traction β with the first foot planted flat and anchored while the weight shifts up to the second, hips sunk close to the wall and arms reaching forward with closed shoulders rather than dangling or thrown overhead. What happens on the way down matters as much as the way up: pushing off the wall like a plyometric lunge, landing out in the box rather than against the springs, is what compounds height bounce over bounce, and where the first foot lands dictates how high the next pass can go. Scrambling extra steps and tiptoeing at full extension are the classic energy-wasters. Comfortable back bouncing comes first, and grippy shoes on a sturdy wall are treated as non-negotiable β never socks.
Key cues

- Touch the wall on the way up not at the apex
- Plant a flat first foot and keep it connected
- Sink the hips close and reach the chest to the wall
- Push down and away on the descent
